Issue I

Clean Water.

North Kingstown depends on groundwater. This issue file follows municipal testing, PFAS planning, replacement wells, infrastructure, and the public records behind them.

Stop the Sludge.

A proposed sewage-sludge pyrolysis facility at Quonset advanced through state permitting before most residents knew what was being considered. The project is paused by a temporary moratorium, but permits, court challenges, and statewide sludge policy remain unresolved.
